Located in the heart of nature, the Tainan National University of the Arts in Taiwan attracts many visitors with its scenic landscape.
In collaboration with my professor of Art History and Museology, I created an ecotourism guide to raise awareness of the campus’s ecological richness.
The guide highlights local flora and fauna across the four seasons. Each month is represented by a plant and an animal, which can be discovered through sight and sound — by paying attention to the subtle signs of their presence: rustling leaves, chirping birds, gentle movements…
Combining local natural history with art history, this publication invites readers to observe attentively the small things around us, just as naturalists once did during their research in Taiwan.
