Garden 91 is a small private art museum nestled on the slopes of Yangmingshan Mountain in Taipei. It features a zen garden that cultivates a variety of native Taiwanese plant species.
I illustrated several symbolic and emblematic plants selected by the museum.
The resulting herbarium aims to highlight the deep connection between plants and daily life in Taiwan, where they are used in medicine, food, textiles, religion, landscape design, and the arts.
